Duct Tape Socks

Your favorite socks now have one or more tiny (or large) holes. Do you throw them out, turn them into dusting rags, or repair. If you choose repair, then this Instructable is for you!

Supplies

Sock(s) with hole(s).

Duct tape.

Scissors for cutting duct tape.

Prepare the Hole

1. Find the hole in the sock (see image 1).

2. Move the remaining threads (near the hole) together to cover the hole (see images 2 and 3).

Tape the Hole

1. Cut a piece of tape (sufficient to cover the hole plus about a ½ inch extra on each side.

2. Lay the tape over the hole (see image 1).

3. Use both fingers to press the tape into the sock (see image 2).

4. Continue pushing until the tape is completely attached (see image 3).

5. There you have it (see image 4) - new socks!
