Duct Tape Dart Board

Everybody likes a nice dart board game right? Well, maybe you have kids and they want to play but it isn’t safe because of the darts. I’ve made a dart board to make sure it's safe for kids and it will stick. I made a small one but you can always make it bigger if you want to. This dart board uses simple, cheap, and around the house supplies. In a few simple steps you’ll have your own duct tape/stick dart board that’s safe for kids. It is only 4 steps!

First things first, you need your supplies/materials. They are:

• Duct tape (obviously)
• Hot glue(I didn’t have hot glue so I used Elmer’s glue, but if you have hot glue, then use it because it dries quicker)
• Cardboard
• #2 pencils
• Bottle cap(preferably the coke bottle caps(or at least that size))
• Sharpie
• Small piece of string(any color you want)

Now you need to make it.

What you need for this step is: the #2 pencils, hot glue/regular glue, and bottle caps. First, Break the #2 pencils in half, then cut the end of the pencil that is jagged and make it as flat as possible. Next, get the bottle cap and the pencil, then you need to put some hot glue/regular glue in the middle of the bottle cap(on the inside not the outside). Put the slightly jagged end of the pencil to the glue. If you have hot glue, hold it until it dries. But if you have regular glue then put the bottle cap laying on the table and make sure the pencil stays straight up, then wait for it to dry. You’ve just made the dart, now make 5 more so when your done you’ll have 6 darts.

Now, this step will be quick, simple, and short. You’ll need: the darts you already made, and duct tape. Get your darts and put them aside. Next, get a piece of duct tape and fold it in a circle so that the sticky part is on the outside and the non-sticky part is on the inside. Now, put that on the bottle cap and cut 2 small duct tape squares. Then, put one duct tape square onto the other and put that on top of the duct tape roll that's on the bottle cap. Done! You finished the dart, now do it to the rest of them. See, this was an easy, short step.

Well, in order to play darts you need a board. So, we’re going to make it. The supplies/materials you need are: cardboard, duct tape, sharpie, and a small piece of string. Cut the cardboard into a circular shape(a circle). I made a small dart board, but you can make it bigger if you want. Then when you're done cutting, put some glue onto the cardboard circle(only one side). Next, cut the duct tape into strips and put the non-sticky side onto the glue(on the cardboard circle). Now, make sure the duct tape covers all of the space on the cardboard and then cut any access duct tape off so that when you’re done it is a circle. Lastly, draw the lines so that there are 3 circles: one large outer one, one medium middle one, and one small one. Make more lines so that you cut it into pizza slices. Now, in every space put an amount of points. But, the small circle in the middle is 100 points and all of the other points in the middle and in the outer part can only be up to 50 points. Get the string and tape it to the back so that you can hang the dart board up in your room, outside on the fence, in the living room, etc. You’ve just made a duct tape sticky dart board.

No more messing up the wall or accidentally hitting somebody. All of the materials are around your house or if you don’t have them, they are really cheap.
