I found a drum in the trash can, the skin was damaged. I kept it for long in my garage, and finally decided to make a lamp. It is a good gift for a drummer.

After removing the damaged skin, I could work inside.

The drum has already some metal fittings to attach the drum. I used one fitting, and moved another fitting in front.

Through these fittings I installed a metal tube, I had to drill the side of the drum to allow the metal tube to go through the fittings.

On the tube, I attached the sockets for the led bulbs with plastic Tyraps and connected the wires.

The drum is light, and I attached the electric wire to the tube to hang the drum.

To hide the leds, I put a meshed fabric that I attached with drum skin attachment.

Done!
