Drinking Bird, 3d Scanned
I received a 3d scanner yesterday, so I had to try it on something.
I lightly painted the glass on a drinking bird, then turned the bird upside down on the scanner platform. Using the "dark" setting, I obtained a decent scan of the bird.
Print the bird, the base and the hat. Glue the bird to the base and glue the hat onto the bird. Glue a couple of google eyes on and you will have a replica.
