Drill Sanding Attachment (In Under 2 Minutes)

I required a way of sanding the bottom of a small, oddly shaped recess. With no obvious easy was to do this, this attachment seemed the quickest way.

What You Need:

A small scrap of 18mm Ply or MDF

A nut and bolt

A holesaw and drilling machine

Glue

Sandpaper

Using a hole saw, drill a hole in a piece of 18mm MDF (Or Ply).

Counterbore a recess so the head of your chosen bolt will sit below the surface of the MDF. Place the bolt in the hole and tighten the nut on the back.

Roughly cut a piece of sand paper ( I used an old belt sander belt) to fit the MDF. Glue or use double sided tape to apply the sand paper, trim and its ready to use!
