Drill Press Little Helper Shelf

hello my fellow Instructables this is my DIY drill press shelf just beg enough to hold a few tools
Supplies

for this build, you will need, wood, a table saw or a hand saw drill bits vise Allen key, a drill or drill press, glue small router

this build is super easy to do. the 1st thing is to measure the drill press column diameter, then Cut a hole on the wood in the middle about 1/12 inches from the edge then cut the piece of wood to the desired size 9 inches in my case then cut the circle in half you will end up with two pieces one about 2 1/2 inches and the other about 6 plus inches long
X 7 inches Wide 3/4 thick. cut 4 pieces 1" 3/4 X 1" find the center of each piece and drill one hole 8mm wide and insert the metal treads.on two pieces, on the other two pieces drill a 4 mm hole

place the two pieces of wood together so you see the complete circle. Mark and drill the location of the 4 small pieces of wood and glue them in place then place them around the column and secure them in place

this step is optional use the router to make a tray 7mm deep so things don't fall out and presto you are done.
