Driftwood Lamp
This is just a simple rustic lamp I made out of driftwood, an old pallet, and a yard sale lamp.
Select Your Upright.
I found a piece of sassafras that had been weathered nicely by the wind and water. I drilled a 3/8" hole down through pretty much the center.
Add the Hardware
You can by lamp kits from your local hardware store, but I'm cheap. The "guts" of my lamp were salvaged from a lamp I bought at a yard sale. I purchased two for a dollar knowing they would be repurposed eventually. I didn't take photos of the base but it is just repurposed pallet wood.
Shed a Little Light.
Find a lamp shade you like and enjoy.
