Looking for a unique way to organize your jewelry? A driftwood jewelry organizer might be perfect for you! This easy DIY project is fun to make and looks like a work of art. It is great for organizing necklaces and dangly earrings.

You will need:

  • A small to medium-sized piece of driftwood You can forage this at a nearby body of water. Lake, ocean, or river will do!
  • Nails I used 16x3/4'' nails
  • Hammer
  • Twine
  • Scissors

Hammer Your Nails Into the Driftwood

  • Use as many nails as you'd like to have for jewelry holding capacity. I used 5.
  • Space your nails out evenly on the driftwood and begin to hammer them into place. Make sure to leave about half the length of the nail standing out. This will be used to hang your necklaces and earrings on.

Measure and Cut Your Twine

  • Measure out your twine to the desired length. Allow extra length for tying around each end of the driftwood.
  • Cut your twine at desired length.

Tie Your Twine

  • Tie each end of your piece of twine around both ends of your driftwood. A regular old double knot will do just fine.
