I needed a Halloween banner for my sideboard display.

So I made a Ghost one from driftwood.

Supplies

Small driftwood pieces.

White paint or chalk paint and a paintbrush.

Hot glue gun.

Thin twine.

Black permanent maker pen.

Paint the Driftwood

Paint your driftwood pieces on the front and leave them to dry.

I used white chalk paint, but you can use any white paint.

You can make your banner as long as you want it to be.

I collected my driftwood from the beach and dryer the pieces in the sun. If you don't live near a beach you can buy small pieces from a craft store.

Add the Features

Cut a length of twine.

Turn the ghost's raw side up in a row.

Place a dollop of hot glue onto the wood and attach a length of the string.

At each end create a loop to tack to the wall or use the removable kind to your decor type plastic hooks to hang where required.

Hang.
