To start we will make face A

1.-We start by creating the sketch and selecting the x box and to create the lines we will use the "line" tool

2.- We continue from point 0 a horizontal line to the right of 53mm (IMG1) and then a vertical line of 3mm downwards we continue with a horizontal line of 50mm to the right and ends with a vertical line upwards of 3mm (IMG2) and we repeat this 1 more time (IMG3) ; To finish with a horizontal line to the right of 53mm (IMG4) .

3.- Now the vertical line, we start with 30mm upwards followed by 3mm to the left (IMG5) and 40mm upwards, we end up with 3mm to the right and 30mm upwards (IMG6) .

4.- To complete we will use the tool " Mirror ”and create the line in the middle of the 3rd line of 50mm horizontally and 40mm vertically (IMG7) . We are guided by the lines created to copy the diagrams (IMG8 and IMG8.2) . Finally, we can give finish sketch if it is complete cyan (IMG9) .

Extrude or thickness

To finish we select the object (IMG10) and with right click we select the "Extrude" tool (IMG11) and give it 3mm thickness (IMG12). We will finish placing appearance (IMG13) , press the A key and a (IMG14) menu will appear with which you can put any model by dragging and this is how it would look (IMG15) .

< p> Finished with Face A, we go to Face B

Face B

We continue with Face B

1.- We create a 57mm horizontal line to the right (IMG1) and then 3mm downwards, we continue with 60mm to the right and 3mm up 3mm, we end up with a 57mm line to the right (IMG2) .

2.- Now the vertical line is similar to face A, but inverted that is to say the following, 60mm up, 3mm to the right, 40mm up, 3mm to the left and 30mm up (IGM3) .

3.- And we will finish with the tool "Mirror" creating the line from the middle of the 2nd horizontal 60mm line and the 40mm vertical line (IMG4) . And following this and the diagram we copy (IMG5 and IMG5.2 ) and if we get cyan color, we have done it well (IMG6) .

Extrude or thickness

We select the object and with right click we give the tool "Extrude" (IMG7) and select We cut 3mm thick (IMG8) . Finally we can do the same as face A for the (IMG9) appearance.

This is how we finish Face B to finish with Face C

We end up with face C

1.- We start with the horizontal line to the right of 53mm (IMG1), 3mm up, 50mm to the right (IMG2) and 3mm down (IM2.2). We repeat this 1 time only that the 53mm is changed for 50mm (IMG3) and we end up with 53mm to the right (IMG4).

2.- Now we create a vertical line 60mm up (IMG5) then 3mm to the left, 60mm up (IMG6), 3mm to the right and we end up with 60mm up (IMG7).

3.- And like the previous one, we will use the “mirror” tool from the middle of the 3 horizontal line of 50mm and with the vertical line of 60mm (IMG8). And following this and the diagram we copy (IMG9 and IMG9.2 ) and if we get cyan color, we have done it well (IMG10).

Extrude or thickness We select the object and right click we give the "Extrude" tool (IMG11) and select 3mm thick (IMG11.2). Finally we can do the same as face A for the appearance (IMG12).

Now we will move on to the design on Face A

Our logo on Face A

1.- For our box to have our design, we will select Face A and select a face and right click to "create sketch" (IMG1) . Then we insert a canvas and add our image and adjust it to the desired (IMG2) .

2.- With the "line" or "spline" tool we will border the entire edge until we reach the other side and finally connect (IMG3) and then fix.

3.- Now with the "text" tool in create, we will add a small text that can change according to what you want (IMG4 and IMG5) . Before finishing we select the text with right click and We select explode text (IMG6) .

4.- Finally it would be ready to Arm (IMG7) .

(You can delete the selected image in the time branch and with Delete delete it)

Now the assembly

1.- First we must save with the desired name (IMG1) . (The angles are as follows (IMG1.2 and IMG1.3) )

2.- The second thing we will do is drag our Face C (IMG2), this object must go to the shortest side that is to say the right or the left , we move it to the center now with the upper wheel (IMG3) and move it to 90deg (IMG3.2) , followed by dragging Face B (IMG4) and it will be placed in the center (IMG5) and with the circle of the half we move it to a left or right side (IMG6) .

3.-Now with the B and with the Angle Y (IMG7) and we move it to 90deg (IMG7.2) . Now with the "Join" tool we will arm it by selecting the 60mm line, selecting the back line (IMG8) and then on Face C on the 60mm line (IMG8.2), we repeat this for the other side (IMG9) .

4.- Now we drag Face A (IMG10) and with the circle of the middle (IMG11) we move it to a side whereby the letters are correct (IMG11.2) . To join it we will use the "join" tool again using the 50mm middle line of face A (IMG12) using the line facing us and on face C the 50mm middle line using the line that looks up (IMG12.2)

5.- For the other side the same will be done but when adjusting the text, we move to a part in which no It is so close (IMG13) , now grabbing the Y angle (IMG14) we move it to 180deg (IMG14.2) , after this We will put together in the same way as the other part (IMG 15 and IMG15.2) . And now only the top part would be missing (IMG16) .

6.- We are in the final part to complete the drawer, to finish we add Face C again (IMG17) and we take it up (IMG19), now with the angle X (IMG19) we move it up to 90deg (IMG19.2) . To join it we can simply take any place where it is in the middle and we will always use from Face C the line of the middle of the 4 sides that faces down (IMG20) and to join it with the part from outside the face that we use (IMG20.2) .

And with this we would have it ready (IMG21), Let's go to RDWorks configuration

The first thing we will do is put Face A from there select the sketch with the image and letter.

  • We unfold the sketches from the folder and the second sketch is what we must use, right click on it and extract it as dxf (IMG1) and save it in the desired path with the desired name < strong> (IMG2).
  • After this we can go to RD Works

In RDWorks

Here we will import our image by dragging or importing (IMG1) , then we select our file (IMG2) and it will be like this (IMG3 ) .

Now as desired you have your color and most people use the following colors for the following function.

  1. Blue: Engraved
  2. Red: Cut
  3. Green: outlined
  • In my case I want the perimeter to be cut so we select it and put the red color (IMG4) and as we can see it will remain in that color.
  • Now I want my name and course to be recorded so we select it (IMG5) and apply the color blue
  • And finally the design, we select it (IMG6) and we put the green color for an outline (IMG7) .
  • Now we will configure each color, for that we double right click on the desired color:
    • Red (IMG8) : we will move the speed and the minimum and maximum power and we will remove the click from the second frame (IMG8.2) .
    • Blue (IMG9) : we will move the speed and the minimum and maximum power, we will remove the click of the second frame and we will move from cut to scanner (IMG9.2)
    • green (IMG10) : we will move the speed to 5 and 10 because we only want a small outline (IMG10.2) . < / ul>
    • Finally we will configure according to the desired order (IMG11) in my case blue, green, red (IMG11.2) .
    • To finish we will use the preview to see how long it will take and how we can see at the end it will show us how long it takes and size (IMG12) .

Final

Well we come to the end, I hope this instructable can be useful for you.

See you at the next.
