Black carrots are full of anthocyanins (antioxidant), they have a beautiful colour and at the same time they taste like the orange ones. I really love them!

You will need:

1 Black carrot
1 Orange carrot
200g  0 flour
10g yeast (I think the instant yeast is also good but I didn't find it)
Milk (or water)
Oil
salt (or sugar for the sweet version)

2 Balls

First of all grate the 2 carrots apart, I used a mixer
Meanwhile melt the yeast in room temperature milk
Split the flour in half and add to every part 1 tablespoon of oil, half melted yeast, only one kind of grated carrot and finally the salt (or the sugar).
The two dough have to be worked for long time (at least five min), till they become a thick ball

Let they rest covered with a cloth for 2 hours.

Why I didn't find the instant yeast?!

After the resting, the volume of the balls will double
Work them apart for a while and then make 2 cylinder.
Twist them together and let the bread rest for 40 min covered again with a towel.

Optional: tuo can decorate the surfice with something like poppy seeds or pumpkin seeds (or you can add to them to the dough).

Bake It!
