Double Raised Leather Belt With Patterns and Hand Stitched

This is a unique belt I made to share my love for leather belts with you! I chose full grain chrome tanned leather, plus a semi waxed thread for the stitching.

Prepare the Main Body

I cut 2 stripes of leather, and a stripe of textile for the body.

Add Textile

Made my pattern signs in one of the stripes which is the top side so I can put on my buckle sew and screw in the following steps. I glued the textile and the two pieces of leather like a "sandwich". I marked my holes to sew the whole belt. Then made my patterns on the surface, I stitched the whole body. Then I finished the edge with edge glue. Waxed the edge after the glue and burnished it again. I sewed the buckle part of the body

Refine the Edges

Dremeled the perimeter of the whole body so i can have it, even sanded at its whole length. I also watered and beveled the edges and then burnished it with the edge burnisher.

The Final Product

The belt is ready…along with an extra "massage" of seal fat!
