Double Rainbow Bracelet
In this tutorial I will show you how to create a Wide Rainbow Bracelet
Similar to my previous rainbow bracelet, but this is a modified version, bigger, bolder, wider
Bigger seems better, at least works for me (I have a small wrist) they look better on my wrist. That's why I came up with this design… I love it and I hope you do too!
Bracelets are commonly given as gifts. Rainbows are nature's gift for all of us to enjoy and to inspire us!
Braided bracelets are popular. They go with all types of outfits, from dressy to casual. Since wide bracelets are large fashion pieces, one should keep the rest of the jewelry to a minimum. Rings, earrings, and necklaces can take away from the wide bracelet's look. If other jewelry will be worn with the bracelet, it should coordinate.
Materials
Paracord
Black- 20-30 feet
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple (2 inches each color)
Scissors
Lighter
Ruler
Buckles 2 (Plastic-Black) I used Medium
Tweezers
You can find these materials at your local craft store &/or online
Knot Tie X 2
You need to braid 2 identical bracelets... both same length (2 will eventually make 1 wide bracelet)
Follow image steps to to tie a basic cobra/solomon knot

Stop when you have reached your desired length (depending on your wrist size) I have a small wrist, 8/12 works for me (buckle included)
Add Colors of the Rainbow
By adding the 6 colored cords (rainbow) we are at the same time joining both bracelets together, because rainbow colors go from one side of the left bracelet, throught the middle of both, to the other side of the right bracelet; I see them as bracelets that go from twins to conjoined twins, from 2 to 1
We are killing 2 birds in one shot so to speak lol, adding colored cords (rainbow) automatically joins both bracelets together (Hope this makes sense)
We are using the same diagonal technique I used on my previous rainbow bracelet tutorial, but this time colored cords go through 2 bracelets not 1
I've drawn an arrow to show you the direction the colored cords must go
Look at the images, specially the one where I add the yellow cord
Remember we have to follow rainbow natural color order
Top to bottom: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple.
Bottom to top: Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red.
I recommend starting with yellow which is the color that goes in the center of the bracelet. There are 6 colors. Yellow is number 3- middle.
Work your way up and down.
Use your tweezers to pull tight those colored cords, the tighter the more conjoined will be!

Add Black
We don't want it to fall apart, we want it to look & feel like 1 piece
It will be easier to wrap it on your wrist and to close the buckles
We are gonna use the same diagonal technique we used to add colors… use your tweezers!

I haven't created a modification for this one yet (I like it the way it is) Actually this one is a modified version from the previous rainbow bracelet I made
