Dorm Dirt Dessert

So you get asked to bring a dessert to a ballgame or party. You don't have any way to cook something so you take a bag of cookies. Here is a great way to make a dessert that everyone will love. And all you need is a few ingredients some Ziploc bags and cups.

Ingredients

1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese - softened

2 - small boxes of vanilla instant pudding

3 - cups of milk

1 - 8 oz container of cool whip

1 - 14.3 oz package of Oreo cookies

2 - 1 gallon Ziploc bags

12- 24 small paper or plastic cups(can also use a plastic container)

A book( you will see later)

Now let's get started

Mix Pudding

In one Ziploc bag combine the boxes of instant pudding and the milk. I am using a 9 oz cup so I am not filling them completely full for a cup. (Hint: 8 oz in a cup). Close the bag and shake well. Make sure the bag is sealed good. Let that sit and now we are going to use the other bag.

In the other Ziploc bag pour in all the Oreo cookies. Seal the bag and try to get all the air out of the bag when you seal. Now crush the Oreo cookies. This is when you need a book or something heavy. Get a book from your least favorite class and crush the Oreo cookies. Be careful and don't punch a hole in the bag.

Finish Mixing

Now add the softened cream cheese to the pudding mix. I start by mashing the cream cheese in the package with my hand. If it is not very soft you can warm it by putting it in another Ziploc bag and putting that in hot water. You should be able to soften by just mashing with your hand. Now put it inside the bag with the pudding and slowly mix the pudding and cream cheese. Once you have that all mixed up add the cool whip. Again just mash the two together this mixes easily..

Assembling

Now cut the bottom corner of the pudding bag. Also cut the corner of the Oreo bag, this will need to be a slightly bigger hole. Squeeze a little of the pudding in a cup and then put some of the Oreo on top, layer more pudding and more Oreo. Depending of the size of the cup you can do two or three layers. Add just a few sprinkles of Oreo cookies on the top. Finish with the rest of the cups. The number of cups will vary depending on the size of the cup. If you do not want to do cups you can buy a plastic container with a lid. If you are making ahead of time and do not have room for the cups in the fridge, don't cut the bag and store the Ziploc bag in the fridge. Assemble the cups when you are ready to go.

Let's Eat

If you are tailgating make sure you keep these in a cooler. Don't worry you won't have to keep them long because they will go fast. I never have leftovers when I take this to a party or football game. It can make the evening a little better when your team doesn't win. Oh well, maybe next year.
