Make a paper template of the brick you plan to use and transfer to a piece of mesh or fabric. Use a tapestry needle and your choice of colors to fill out the mesh. You can draw on a pattern with a sharpie.

Use an oversewing technique to put together the finished tapestry. Insert the brick and sew the final edge together.
