Made entirely of chocolate, this donut eating dinosaur is bound to bring giggles to your next themed party!

Supplies

You will need:

Modeling Chocolate

Tempered Chocolate

Carving tools

Heating torch

Step 1: Visualize Your Final Product

Create a vision board to help guide your project visually! Print these out and set them aside. This will allow you to reference ideas as you carve through your chocolate.

Step 2: the Egg

Beginning with a solid block of chocolate. For me, I started with an egg shape for the belly of the dinosaur. This will give your sculpture a solid base and body.

Step 3: Time Too Add and Subtract!

Gradually add on modeling chocolate by the desired inspiration. Once you have built up areas its time to get your hands chocolatey! Take your tools and carve out pieces to created the textures and shapes of your dragon.

Note! For any add on features, make separately. For me those were the wings, arms, and legs. When you are ready to add those pieces heat the areas to make what I call "chocolate glue". Hold in place and begin massaging the boarders until the chocolate cools in place. Then, time to shape!

Step 4: Final Touches

Bring your piece to life! I used white chocolate for the eyes, sprinkles to show my dinosaur eating donuts, some pink powders, and some textures on the character.

HAVE FUN, ITS CHOCOLATE!
