Doll Cupcake
When my girls were young I make one of those full size Barbie doll cakes. Yes, my hand died an ignominious death; putting the icing on the skirt of that cake. I swore, never again. Then I saw this on Pintrest: http://fruittart.wordpress.com/2008/05/29/a-little-princess-party/, and I thought, I could do that and my hand would not die in the process. So I went to the store and bought a Polly Pocket doll, then came home and make my doll cupcake. This would make a wonderful birthday party refreshment/party favor.

Preheat oven to 350°. Spay the custard cup
and fill it ½ to 2/3 full of the cake batter of your choice.
Bake for 20 minutes until done. Remove from the oven, and let cool for 10 minutes and cool completely.
If the icing isn’t the color you want, add coloring and mix completely.
Put the tip and coupler on the end of the decorating bag. Fill the bag with the icing.
Wash the doll off with soap and water. Push the doll feet first down the center of the cup cake.
Now take the bag of icing and squeeze icing flowers around the waist of the doll.
Next just put flowers on the surface of the cake skirt, until it is all covered with icing flowers. Add a few more around the waist of the doll as needed. Done!
My granddaughter was impressed and she enjoyed the cupcake so that she could get at the doll. Yeah, it worked. Enjoy!
