You got a new puppy and you need a kennel basically but it's too expensive? Well, make this simple cardboard playpen!

2 cardboard boxes (recommended for small puppies) or larger, depending how big your puppy/dog is, tape. Glue and paint are optional.

Just unfold the boxes.

Tape the boxes together on the sides. Or hot glue them together.

Decorate your playpen however you want! Enjoy!
