Dog Box Frame Rebuild
hello, my name is Wes, this is my first instructable that i have attempted to make. This instructable is a rebuild of a bent, not leveled dog box frame.
Supplies
Mig/stick welder- miig- millermatic 251-40078999
Angle grinder- dewalt brushless- DCG414
Metal chop saw- Delta Industrial- 56B3409FP
Dremal- Dremal200- 606
Materials
Steel (square tubing) Size-1square inch / by ⅛ thickness Price-25.92 per 12 foot

Deconstructing
Step 1: First i took the bent frame and cut all jointed peaces off
Cutting New Frame
Step 2: I measured a 48x48 inch base/top and a 21 1/2 inch tall piece of square tubing for the side of the frame.
Step 3: Once measured begin cutting out the measured pieces.
Top and Bottom Frame
Step 4: layed out my 48x48 inch pieces of square tubing and began welding corners.
Step 5: Grind welds to lay flush against the tubing.
Center Cross Beam
Step 6: Place center cross beam in center of frame and tack in.
Side of Box
Step 7: Square off your side beams to corners and mid way between corners and weld on.
Final Results
Step 8: Place already welded frame on top of corners and weld into place.
