Diy Variable Lab Power Supply
Hi, everybody, i will present today a DIY variable power supply very cheap that you can assemble at home
for a cheap price and will do the job till you will have a proper bench power supply. You can test components and adjust the output voltage from 20-0.5v
Adjustable Power Supply
A proper bench power supply is very expensive and in that case, we will make our own small power supply.
A power supply is an electrical device that supplies electric power to an electrical load. The primary function of a power supply is to convert electric current from a source to the correct voltage, current, and frequency to power the load. As a result, power supplies are sometimes referred to as electric power converters.
Some power supplies are separate standalone pieces of equipment, while others are built into the load appliances that they power. Examples of the latter include power supplies found in desktop computers and consumer electronics devices. Other functions that power supplies may perform include limiting the current drawn by the load to safe levels, shutting off the current in the event of an electrical fault, power conditioning to prevent electronic noise or voltage surges on the input from reaching the load, power-factor correction, and storing energy so it can continue to power the load in the event of a temporary interruption in the source power (uninterruptible power supply).

The hart of our power supply is this board that can be found on amazon/ebay click here
Voltage Regulator Voltmeter Buck Converter LM2596 DC 5/12V Adjustable Voltage Regulator Stabilizer Experimental Power 5-35V to 0-33V Red LED Display it has a cheap price and is doing the job very well
can go until 0.5v with no problem the only downside is that the current is according to the input power supply
witch can be a transformer, laptop charger, drill battery and any kind of battery or dc power source.
Homemade Variable Power Supply
In order to keep this project cheap, i didn't build a case for it i just showed in the video that is operating and easy to use an inexpensive alternative to a proper bench power supply, which is a must in any electronic hobbyist tools list.Till we will find an affordable bench power supply this one will do the job in just adjusting the output voltage the input current we have to regulated somehow.
Any ideas?Please write down bellow
