in this instructable i am going to make a 3d doodle with a hot glue gun and a freezing cold plate .

it is not yet perfect and i am working on a way to make the stuff they have in 3d printers in a form you can put in your hot glue gun. (so you don`t need the freezing cold plate ) and of course is the plastic much stronger .IF SOMEBODY GOT SUGGESTIONS PLEAS LEAVE THEM IN THE COMMENTS

this is much cheaper than buying a 3d pen witch cost 100-150 euro`s . because it is made from glue it cant`t snap and it is simple to repair to

What You Will Need for This Project

the needs for this project are :

  • a bag of ice
  • a towel
  • a sheet of metal ( i used a baking plate )
  • a hot glue gun

this is for a small baking plate , i used a big one so i doubled it up.

Making the Freezing Plate

to make the freezing plate i used the flowing simple steps

  1. lay down the towel
  2. put the ice bags on the towels
  3. put the baking plate over it

you can make simple patterns with painter`s tape . i taped

I made 1 mistake in my processes , because i putted the hot glue strait on the plate , the result of this was that i had some ugly peaces of black paint on the 3d model , the simlest way of solving this is to tape the hole plate . this allows you to sketch your design on the tape to.
