Diwali-themed Lantern Shaped PCB

Diwali is the festival of lights. It is India’s biggest religious festival celebrated across the states. As per Hindu belief, Deepavali is the time of conquering evil by good and darkness by light. There is a special significance of the worship of goddess Lakshmi on this auspicious day. It is a belief that Goddess Lakshmi brings wealth and prosperity to the households.

  4. LED-TH-3mm_R- x20
  5. LED-TH-3mm_B- x20
  6. Resistor 1kohm -x6
  7. DC005-2.0MM- x1
  8. Resistor 10ohm- x6

Schematic

6 LED arrays, each consisting of 10 LEDs are used and can be controlled using any GPIO pin of a Microcontroller.

Create Board Outline

After saving the schematic, Save and Go to Tools -> Convert to PCB.

Select the Board outline option from "Layers and Objects"

Now, adjust the shape of the board such that it looks like a lantern.

Add Silkscreen

Go to Import -> Image and browse for any Diwali lantern icon.

After adding it to the PCB, change the attribute to Silkscreen.

Place Components

Place components.PNG

Place LEDs and other components in such a way that it looks well aligned.

Add the jumper on the bottom layer so that the wires go on the bottom side.

Route Them All

Routing.PNG

Start routing and also add the copper area by selecting the net as GND.

And, You Are Done!
