This is a super easy method for dividing fractions that I think EVERYBODY should know! It is simple and easily remembered in three letters.
Supplies
A pen and a paper, is the only supplies used for this math lesson!
What Is Your Fractional Equation?
First, look at your textbook and figure out what equation you are trying to solve.
Keep
KEEP the first fraction the same.
Change
CHANGE the division symbol to a multiplication symbol.
Flip
Flip the fraction over so that the numerator is BELOW the denominator.
Follow Multiplication Rules to Finish Equation
Numerator X Numerator and Denominator X Denominator and simplify, if nesscesary.
