District 10 is a visionary theme park land where the digital and physical world collide, creating an immersive cyberpunk experience unlike any other. This futuristic cityscape pulses with neon-lit streets, towering holograms, AI-driven interactions, and a rich storyline that invites guests to become part of an ongoing struggle between rebellious hackers and powerful megacorporations.

This world will embody the essence of cyberpunk—a world where technology dominates, corporations control, and the underground fights for freedom. Augmented reality, interactive AI characters, and digital overlays ensure every guest is woven into the narrative. The lighting features mixed with intricate details of the land will redefine theme park immersion by integrating cutting-edge technology with dynamic storytelling, placing guests at the center of a living, breathing cyberpunk city. This land will captivate visitors with its electrifying atmosphere and evolving interactive elements, ensuring every experience is unique.

To create concept art for a cyberpunk-inspired theme park land I drew inspiration from literature, film, and gaming, bringing the gritty yet electrifying world to life. Influenced by William Gibson’s “Neuromancer”, Syd Mead’s rain-soaked streets of “Blade Runner” and neon-drenched digital frontier of “Tron”, and the interactive depth vreated by the developers of “Cyberpunk 2077”, this immersive environment merges augmented reality, AI-driven storytelling, and towering holograms into a living, breathing land.

Schematic Drawings and Concept Ideas

In developing the schematic drawings and concept I began by outlining a general plan layout, ensuring a balanced flow between attractions, shopping, and dining areas to create an immersive and intuitive guest experience. The architectural design drew heavily from brutalist and futurist influences, combining stark, monolithic structures with sleek, high-tech elements to evoke the essence of a cyberpunk metropolis. Brutalist concrete facades juxtaposed with neon-lit glass towers provide striking contrasts, reinforcing the land’s atmospheric depth. To ensure variation, I studied different forms of futuristic architecture, integrating modular structures, layered urban corridors, and vertical density to create a sense of grandeur and immersion. Each destination—from hacker dens to corporate shopping districts—was thoughtfully placed to maintain a dynamic visual landscape while guiding guests through a nonlinear journey that encourages exploration.

Using Revit, I crafted the initial 3D model for District 10 establishing the foundational layout and spatial relationships within the land. This allowed me to visualize the arrangement of attractions, shopping districts, and dining areas while ensuring seamless guest circulation and architectural cohesion. With the core framework in place, I refined each building by integrating brutalist and futurist influences into the structures. The blocky, imposing forms of brutalism provided a striking contrast to the sleek, illuminated facades inspired by futuristic designs. I utilized parametric modeling to develop unique geometric shapes, overhangs, and modular elements that enhanced the high-tech dystopian aesthetic.

Using Rhino, I developed the initial 3D model for District 10 establishing the layout and spatial relationships, then refined architectural details with Rhino to enhance realism. Incorporating exposed wiring, industrial piping, vents, and embedded technological elements, I created a worn, high-tech aesthetic that immerses guests in a cyberpunk metropolis. Brutalist and futurist influences shaped the structures, with neon-lit facades and modular designs reinforcing the theme. I also modeled futuristic vehicles, alongside interactive kiosks, holographic billboards, and neon-lit infrastructure to enrich the world-building.

Textures

In D5 Render, textures play a crucial role, enhancing the architectural realism and atmospheric depth of the cyberpunk metropolis. High-resolution materials such as worn concrete, metallic surfaces, and neon-lit glass façades will be applied to buildings, creating a striking contrast between brutalist structures and futuristic digital elements. Emissive textures will be used extensively for street illumination, ensuring neon signs, holographic billboards, and underlit walkways glow dynamically in the environment. Reflective materials like wet pavement effects will heighten the gritty urban feel, while layered textures for grime, rust, and digital glitches will reinforce the world’s dystopian atmosphere. Through D5’s real-time lighting engine, dynamic global illumination and volumetric lighting will simulate ambient glow from holograms and interactive screens, fully immersing guests in a visually rich cyber-future.

Renders

In D5 Render, I set up views to highlight the cyberpunk atmosphere, using cinematic angles to showcase architecture, lighting, and immersive details. High-quality 3D assets like futuristic furniture, urban props, and interactive kiosks will enhance realism, while 3D asset people and cyber-enhanced characters will bring the city to life. D5’s real-time rendering will fine-tune reflections, atmospheric effects, and lighting transitions, ensuring every scene feels dynamic and visually compelling.


Touch Up Work

I used Photoshop to refine renders by enhancing lighting, color grading, and textures while adding ambient effects like fog and reflections to deepen immersion. Touch-ups will ensure surfaces look realistic and the cyberpunk atmosphere feels more dynamic. This will enhance the aesthetic quality of the renders.

Reflection

Working on District 10 was a rewarding experience that refined my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering while pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Experimenting with futuristic concepts, lighting, and immersive details helped bring the cyberpunk vision to life through this concept art.This project sharpened my technical abilities and prepared me for future competitions, making the effort worthwhile.
