this is something made from very ordinary and stuffs lying around you. This project, probably will set you back nothing but 10 - 15 minutes.
you can also use it as a miniature tri-pod.

At first you are going to need patience to find some heavy gauge wires. Do not run away if you do not have one. Search for some low gauge wires and wrap around to make a strong piece. Make sure that it will hold the weight of your camera because you do not want to see the LCD/ Lens shattering into pieces right in front of your eyes.

cut the wire into

1) 14'' X 1

2) 7'' X 3

take the 14'' inch ( 1'' stripped from each end) and bend it right in the middle. Take a pliers and punch them hard until it looks like two straws are lain together.

Take those 7'' pieces ( 1'' stripped on one end only) and bend them into 90 degree angle.

Take the U shaped wire. then start wrap the stripped ends of the 7'' wires to the U shaped wire. it doesn't matter how you wrap it just keep it balanced. after you finished wrapping the wires it will look something like in the picture.

Now take a Bolt that fits your camera and wrap it up with the stripped end of the U shaped wire. Wrap around the bolt tightly and then put a nut and screw it tightly until it stops turning.
