Desoldering Female Header Pins

I wanted to remove the header pins from my old Arduino, so I started to search it on the internet but I couldn't find one. I only saw tutorials about removing male header pins. So I tried different ways to remove it and finally got an easy and efficient method to do so.

Supplies

  1. Soldering iron
  2. plier
  3. needle nose plier
  4. Desoldering wick(optional)

We can use players, use players to pull out the black cover of the header pins.

and you can see the bare pins.

Now take your soldering iron and heat the solder from the back

Use needle-nose pliers to get a good grip on these pins and use your iron to remove the solder on the top,

and when the solder melts smoothly remove the pins.

use the soldering iron carefully,

if not careful it can permanently damage your board. That's it! and that's how you remove it.

Finally use some desoldering wick to remove the solder left on the solder pads(optional).
