Depression Meal - Cheesy Garlic Bread

It is now that time of year when the seasonal depression is beginning to hit people hard because the sun sets at 5 PM and us mentally ill people got to stick together with our favorite depression meal cheesy garlic bread.
Supplies

These are the items that you'll need for your meal.
- One loaf of French bread
- One 4 oz garlic butter package
- One 8 oz package of mozzarella cheese
- A baking sheet of some kind to bake the bread on
- A butter knife or something to spread the garlic butter
- A knife to cut the loaf in half as well as to slice the bread at the end of cooking
Go to Store
This is a very important step and also a hard one when depression hits. You got this bestie. Drive to the store, grab a cart, and pop some headphones in to keep the social anxiety at bay. Shop around making sure to get those ingredients, maybe impulse buy an item or two to really get that serotonin intake in. Make sure to drive safely and to obey all traffic laws on the way there and back.
Come Home and Gather All Your Materials

Once you're home, gather all of your ingredients/materials. You will need a baking sheet, a loaf of French bread, a bag of mozzarella, a container of garlic spread, a butter knife, and a sharp serrated knife.
Preheat Your Oven
Make sure to preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, so that it has ample time to heat up while we prepare our bread.
Cut Loaf of Bread in Half

Take your loaf of bread and cut it horizontally to make two half loaves. Be careful when cutting to make sure that the only thing that gets cut is the bread and all of your fingers remain intact.
Spread Garlic Butter on Bread

Now that your loaf is cut in half, spread the garlic spread using the butter knife on each side of the bread. I used about three fourths of the container, but feel free to use as little or more as your little depressed heart desires to to really make it to your liking.
Sprinkle Cheese on Bread

Sprinkle the cheese over the two half loaves. I used the whole 8 oz bag, after sneaking a couple of pinches of the cheese into my mouth as a snack. So, use as little or as much to fit your preferences.
Put Cheesy Garlic Bread in Oven
Place your bread on a baking sheet. Once the oven is up to temperature, place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes. Cooking times may vary based on your oven so bake until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Please be careful of hot the oven is when placing the baking sheet in the oven.
Dance Break

While the bread bakes, dance all of your worries away by blasting your hyper fixation song at the moment. Mine personally at the moment is CHEESE by Stray Kids, but any song will work as long as you can dance to it. Dance out all of your frustrations and anxieties from the day or scream them away with the lyrics.
Take Bread Out of Oven

Once the cheese is melted and the bread looks golden brown like the picture above, use hot pads to take the baking sheet out of the oven. Please be careful when taking the bread out of the oven because the baking sheet will be hot from the temperature in the oven.
Cut the Bread and Enjoy!

Take the bread off of the baking sheet and transfer it onto a cutting board. Please be careful when transferring because it is hot. Using the serrated knife, cut the bread into slices. This will give you leftovers, so eat what you want and save the rest for another day. Enjoy your cheesy garlic bread and know that things will get better :) you got this bestie!
