Sew the Pockets
-Sew the pockets with the correct side facing each other.
-Sew the bottom, left and right side, leave the top open.
-Trim the extra besides the seam on each side to make it neat and turn inside out for the next step. (make sure turning the corner edge sharp)
Adding the Strap
-Cut an appropriated strap to use for closure from the denim skirt. It can be from the waist part.
-Sew to the longer piece, above the pocket, on the correct side.
Sewing the Loop
-To complete the closure, cut a short piece from the denim skirt, fold and sew to be a short strap.
-Attache to the appropriate location and sew it on the very first layer of the pocket.
Sewing the Shoulder Strap
-Cut the edge of the skirt with appropriate length, if it is not enough long, it can be added with the other fabric to make it longer. Fold and sew to about 2 to 3 inches in width.
-Then sew each edge to the side of the bag. Finished!!
