Delicious Heart Shaped French Toast

For this instructable I am going to show you how to make the most delicious french toast ever. It is great to serve to your date or wife on that special day. I little hint if this is for a special meal light some candles or put some flowers on the table. also included in this instructable the secret to my perfect heart shape ;)

What You Need

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bread

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Butter or oil for frying (I used butter)

  • Maple syrup (optional)

Kitchen tools:

  • Frying pan

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring cup, and spoons

  • whisk

  • Secret Item mentioned later

Combine and Mix

Combine all ingredients (except for bread) in mixing bowl, and whisk it all together.

Once properly mixed it should look something like picture 1. put a sliver of butter in the pan, and wait for it to melt.

Dip It

quickly dip your slices of bread into the mixing bowl and put on your pan, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat the steps with every slice of bread.

My Secret Step (optional)

Now you'll probably laugh about this, but this and my secret step. To achieve a perfect heart shape just find a heart shaped cookie cutter, and place it on the middle of your finished french toast and press down.

Syrup Time (or Not)

Whether you decided to use My Secret Step or not you are now done. You can serve as is or covered in maple syrup :) I have a pretty large family so In had to triple the recipe. I hope you enjoyed this instructable, and don't forget to vote.
