Delectable Double Chocolate Cookies

These delicious Double Chocolate Cookies are just right to satisfy a sweet tooth, or to have after a long day of work. They're easy to make and totally worth it!

Supplies

- Stand mixer

- Measuring Cup set

- Teaspoon set

-Misc sized bowls

Ingredients

- 2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter

- 2 large eggs

- 2 cups granulated sugar

- 2 cups flour

- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 teaspoon liquid vanilla extract

- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (whichever

OPTIONAL

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1/3 cup peanut butter

- walnuts (as topping)

Whip the Butter

Whip the butter until it's smooth

Mix the Base Ingredients

Crack the eggs in a separate bowl (to avoid getting egg shells in the cookies), and put them in the mixer. Then put the sugar in and mix it all together. It's also a good time to add the vanilla.

Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a different bowl, add the dry ingredients; flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Mix it together until it's a uniform color.

Incorporate the Dry Ingredients

Incorporate the dry ingredients into the mixer by the spoonful.

Add the Extras

Then stir in the chocolate chips, but don't leave the mixer running for too long or the batter will get too dense.

Get Them Ready to Bake

Use an ice cream scoop to make dough balls, and put them on the baking sheet. Press room temperature walnuts, or any other topping you want, into the cookies.

PS: Use room temp toppings because these are fast baking cookies, and the center won't be done with the rest of the cookie.

BAKING

350° for about 10 minutes
