Defunct Mouse Trick

In this Instructable I will show you how to pull off a really sneaky trick, using just a defunct mouse and access to a friend's computer for a minute. Make sure that the mice are identical, so he/she will not know the difference!  :)

.Your mouse must be exactly the same as your friend's mouse. (I didn't have the two of the same, so I have a great-working DELL and a not-so-great-working COMPAQ.)
.You must be able to do this all very quickly (In about one minute)
.Your friend's computer must be a desktop, not a laptop.
Once you meet those requirements, you will be ready to Trick Your Friends!

(Skip this step if you already have a non-working mouse.)
Take some long nose pliers and bend one of the prongs on the connector. Keep bending it back and forth until it snaps off. You now have a dead mouse! (throw away the extra prong. take note that you will not be able to use this mouse EVER AGAIN!)

Make sure that there is no way that the owner of the computer will come in and bust your plans! Once confirmed, look behind the main tower of the desktop and find the green jack. Unplug it, remove the other mouse, and exchange it for the defunct mouse. You are now free to sneak behind a piece of furniture and watch as your friend frustratingly attempts to figure out what is wrong! Have fun! And play safe! And don't run with scissors! And turn the radio down! etc. etc.
