No-fines is a concreting technique where there are no fine aggregate (sand) included, resulting in porous concrete. I have modified the method by filling the voids with a coloured cement to produce a mottled spotty pattern.

Things You Will Need

Safety:

  • dust mask
  • latex gloves

Concrete:

  • white cement
  • yellow and blue pigment
  • aquarium gravel

Mini concrete vibrator: https://www.instructables.com/id/Mini-Concrete-Vibr...

  • water
  • disposable cups
  • popsicle sticks
  • grinding pad (or other sanding/grinding tools)
