Decorating Gingerbread Cookies

Gingerbread cookies are a festive treat during the holidays! It's a fun activity to do with the whole family. Decorating the cookies is almost as much fun as eating them!

You can buy gingerbread cookies at the store, or you can make them yourself. Make sure the cookies are cooled before putting icing on them.

Spoon the icing into the plastic bag. Squeeze the icing into one corner of the bag and cut a small hole in that corner.

This is where you can be creative. You can add sleeves, pants, hair, and shoes if you wish. Don't forget to add icing dots for the eyes and buttons. Don't forget to add a smile!

Put red hots on the icing dots for the eyes and buttons.
