Daruma Project
Ok, today I am going to make Daruma in the Tinkercad.
Daruma is the Japanese traditional/cultural doll that is symbol of the lack and perseverance. The purpose of making Daruma printing is to tell you about what is cultural artifacts and how is it important in the world through creation of Daruma.
Supplies
The material I used;
- - notebook - to sketching
- - pencil
- - Tinkercad - that is one of the website
Sketching
First session is sketching.
to summarize the ideas or image of the Daruma that I want to make by sketching. Like the coloring, texture, and size in detail. Also we should be comparing the real one and original(we going to make)one because to find the difference between those.
Tinkercad
Tinkercad is types of free 3d design/modeling site that can understand the function and make that you want easily. (if you are interest, you can go to website and learn how to do) But I thought that is sometimes use difficulty because Tinkercad can not slide the position that I want to move. Well....Just I think so.
I used to make the three shapes mainly; Cylinder, Sphere and Scribble.
(Scribble can make the various shape that you want to)
Base Shape
First, I putted the sphere and make the hole by used cylinder tool. Then I make the group of two shapes. And I change the color to can understand the what is that shape easily.
Also I placed the half cylinder to make the face bace shape.(it was difficult little to set)
Face Texture
Next, I make the eyes to the cylinder and that hole function. And putted on the face base.
Nose is triangle, and Mouth is cylinder to make.
And group to the whole shapes.
Magatama Texture
Next, I made the texture of daruma overalls.
I used the shape that is scribble is able to be create the every shapes that you want to make. But I think it can make only plane shape and the operation is difficult to make little
And I made that and putted on the bottom of daruma.
Improvement of My Product
Last, I improved that unfavorite part and the adding some magatama part.
