Dark & Light Detector Circuit

This circuit uses a 555 timer which is a type of transistor to detect light intensity through an LDR. If there is no light at all shown upon the LDR, the transistor saturates and powers the red LED as well as the motor. If there is concentrated light on the LDR, the yellow LED will turn on as well as the motor will keep going.
