Dark Chocolate Brownies

The first step in making your dark chocolate brownies is to make sure you have all of your ingredients out and ready to mix! You will need a mixing bowl, spatula/whisk, 2 eggs, canola oil, Pam nonstick cooking spray, dark chocolate brownie mix and a nonstick baking pan.

The box calls for vegetable oil but you can substitute canola oil if you do not have vegetable oil and it will still turn out perfect!

First you will open up the box and pour the brownie mix into your mixing bowl

Next, you will take your measuring cup and add 1/4 cup of water into the mixing bowl.

After you add the water to the mix, you will then take your 2 eggs and crack them into the mixing bowl.

After you have added the 1/4 cup of water, 2 eggs, and brownie batter you will then take your whisk/spatula and mix together the ingredients until all of the batter has come together and there is no dry batter mix left in the bowl.

Make sure before you pour the brownie batter into your nonstick cooking pan, you spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray so when its time to cut them they do not stick to the bottom of the pan.

Next you will pour the brownie mix into your cooking pan and make sure that it is even when you pour it so that it does not make an indent or cave in because there is too much mix on one side and not the other. This step is important so that the brownies come out of the oven even.

After you will turn your oven on to 350 degrees and let the oven heat up. You can either go ahead and pre heat it while you are mixing the brownie batter or afterwards.

When using a nonstick cooking pan you can cut your time down by 3 minutes, so you will set the oven to 33 minutes. If you do not use a non stick pan you will set the oven to 36 minutes instead.

Once the timer goes off, before you take the brownies out make sure you take a toothpick and put it in the middle of the brownie and pull it back out. If there is still a little brownie mix on the toothpick put it back in the oven for 2 minutes and check it again. If you check your toothpick and there is nothing on it, your brownies are good to take out of the oven.

Once you take your brownies out, they should look like this. Then you let them cool for a few minutes before cutting them and they are ready to serve!
