Dairy-free, Chocolate-free Hot Cocoa





Sometimes you just want the taste of hot cocoa, but you can't (or won't) consume dairy and/or chocolate. This recipe is a pretty good substitute - warming and delicious.
Ingredients:
Variations can include:
- a dash or two of cinnamon
- a dash of cayenne pepper

- 1.5 tbsp raw carob powder
- 1 mug full of milk-like substance (soy milk, almond milk, etc.)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp honey (optional - the carob is pretty sweet on its own)
