First unwrap your chocolates then microwave for around 1:30 to 2 minutes on high or until melted. You can skip this step if using cocoa powder.

If using cocoa powder start with the egg then mix in the powder and the maple syrup. If using chocolate candy start with themelted chocolate the add the egg and the maple syrup. Stir well and make sure that the chocolate isn't hot enough to cook the egg and make sure that the chocolate doesn't cool. I reccomend using cocoa powder.

Slice and Coat

Then on a clean plate take your 2 slices of bread and cut in half. Then dunk each side in the egg mixture and set aside. Dunk before the chocolate has cooled if using chocolate bars.

Cook

Heat up your pan on the stovetop and butter it. Then place each slide on the pan and cook until crispy or golden brown. Flip every now and then. When done serve on a plate topped with either powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, or whatever you like, cocoa powder is my personal favorite. Enjoy!!!
