Da Whip 2.0




We made a car for class. It's actually pretty cool.
The name "Da Whip" is pronounced as Stewie from Family Guy says, "Cool Whip."
Supplies
- Arduino
- Two breadboards
- Three line sensors
- Two hobby DC motors
- Motor controllers
- IR remote
- IR sensor
- Two Arduino wheels
- Two swivel wheels (rubber bands optional)
- Various jumper wires (MM, MF, FF)
- Battery pack
- AA Batteries
- 3D printed chassis
- Hot glue
- Three 3D Printed Parts




Building instructions:
- Attach the Arduino and the breadboards to the chassis.
- Hot glue the motors to the bottom of the chassis opposite of each other and attach the wheels.
- Wire the motors and motor controllers into the Arduino using the wiring diagram.
- Attach the top printed part, while mounting the 2nd breadboard with the ultrasonic distance sensor and IR sensor also using the wiring diagram
- Attach the swivel wheels.
- Mount the line sensors to the front of the car pointing towards the ground.
- Download the file containing the code to the Arduino.
- Connect your computer to the car and upload the code.
- Disconnect computer and attach battery back to Arduino.
- Control the car with the IR remote
- Run and have fun.
