DIY Easy Toolbelt

Here is an easy set up to create a great diy toolbelt out of scraps around the house.

Here is what I used to create my DIY toolbelt

Old pair of jeans

scrap fabric

scissors

sewing machine

I started by cutting the material I needed to make the bag. I cut off one of the seams of the jeans to create the pockets for the toolbelt

I also cut the scraps of fabric that would be the belt part of the toolbelt.

I started by hemming the top of the jeans, then closed the sides.

Finally I sewed a seam right through the middle to create two pockets to the toolbelt

Then next step was to add the waistband.

I had two pieces for the waistband so I first started by sewing the raw edges on the inside of the band

I then sewed the band to the back of the tool belt pockets.

Finally I was finished with my toolbelt!
