Hey There,

if you are an gardening freak and already out of gardening space, try this Gardening Wall to plant lots of versatile plants in your wall. to do that you just need the following

Supplies

  1. Cement
  2. Old Coffee Mug
  3. a broken brick
  4. a plastic cover

Prepare the Mold

To prepare the mold here i use 2 bricks and a plastic cover as in the image. Place the broken brick in between the two bricks and separate the broken brick and non broken bricks with the help of plastic cover. using plastics as a separator is very helpful and cost effective, as plastic cover will not stick to the cement and reusable.

Note: For the effective binding of cement and the brick, soak the brick completely in water before pouring cement mixture.

Making Cement Mixture

To make a cement mixture, take a suitable bowl and add cement and sand in 1:1 ratio (1 Cup Cement and 1 Cup Sand). then add enough water and mix the components until it forms a smooth paste. Here i used the mixture of cement, sand and Water in 1:1:1 ratio.

Fill the Cavity

Fill the cavity between the broken brick with cement mixture. during filling make sure the cement covers the entire cavity or else the bonding may get weak.

Placing the Cup

After filling the cavity, place the coffee Mug/Cup as soon as possible. Make sure the cup is placed in a good proposition.

Making Adjustment

Even though Placing Mug is enough to make the potting arrangement, add some more cement mixture on top and bottom portion of the mug. That will make the bonding between Mug and Cement stronger.

Let It Dry

Letting it Dry for 24 hours will be good. Pour some water on the brick gently every 10 hours for better effect. Pouring water on cement during this drying process will increase the bond strength.

Add Your Plant

Now add your plant on the coffee mug gently. I recommend using bonsai on this planter we have created and if its not possible add small sized plant with less root. using cactus or plant with bulbs is a nice choice too.

Fill It

Fill the cup using a soil with rich source of minerals to keep your plants healthier. Here i use red soil without adding any fertilizer. Honestly speaking using synthetic fertilizer on your plants are like feeding them a shot of tobacco. if you wanna use fertilizer use an organic one.

Water It

Water the plant regularly to avoid plant dehydration. if you are using bulbs or cactus, you don't need to worry about watering your plant regularly. they can last long without water in shades.
