DIY Upcycled Holiday Glass Jar Candle Display
Hi everyone! This is an older craft that I worked on last year. It is actually a favorite of mine. I had a few glass jars, and old candle jars around my home, and I wanted to create something simple. I thought a candle display would be great, and simple to create. If you have any pasta jars, old candle jars, or any glass jars this craft is perfect for you!

Supplies
Frosted Glass Spray- I used Rust-Oleum
Gold wire
Stretch cord (optional)
Holiday greenery, Berries, and any holiday decoration can be added
Flameless tealights
Mini Ornaments ( I used one for this project)
For this project, I picked up a pack of flameless tealights from my local Big Lots store. A pack of 10, with extra batteries, was five dollars. I honestly thought that was a great price, and I knew exactly what I wanted to use them for.
Applying Frosted Glass Spray
Start off by setting up an area to spray your glass jars. I used a plastic bag, and I also made sure that the area was ventilated. Take your frosted glass spray, and apply it over your glass jars. I made sure to spray them evenly, this way I did not have to worry about the spray dripping. Once you have applied your spray, set your jars aside, and allow them to completely dry. I allowed my jars to dry for 35 minutes. Depending on the weather, and how many coats you apply, you may want to let it dry a little longer. My garage was pretty warm, and I also had a fan on.
Decorating Your Glass Jars
Begin by wrapping the top portion of your glass jars with your gold wire. I went ahead and wrapped the top of my smaller jars with gold wire, and I decided to use some stretch cord in the middle of my smaller jars. It was much easier to add my greenery and tie them off using the gold stretch cord. You can continue with the gold wire, or you can use a stretch cord. I added a few of my glitter berries to both jars, and one mini ornament to one of the smaller jars.
For my larger jar, I added my gold wire on the top portion, and I also wrapped some gold wire in the middle of the jar. I added two glitter berries and a leaf. I wanted to keep it simple.
When adding the wire to my medium size jar, I went ahead and wrapped the wire around just the middle section. When I got to the end of the wire that was wrapped around it, I created a small design with the wire by twisting the wire into a spiral shape. I added two strands of gold wire and repeated the spiral shape. I added two glitter berries, and that was it.
Adding Your Tealights Into Your Jars
Add in your flameless tealights, and display your beautiful glass jars. These look great displayed in a window, or on a staircase, or you can add these to a tray with some other holiday decorations.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and creating with me!
