This is a simple way to out your own unique touch to candle holders or jars. They make great decorations and gifts! You can use any image that you can print on regular printer paper.

What You'll Need...

All you need to get started is:

Mod Podge
Sponge brush
A glass jar, candle, or candle holder
A printer with regular printer paper (and hopefully ink)
Tape
Some picture or image that you want on your candle
An old book (I used a dictionary)

Get Your Image Printed

The first step is getting your image printed. Take a page from your old book and place it on a piece of the printer paper. Tape around the edges here and there with some tape to secure the book page to the printer paper. Now load up that page and print your image. This may take a couple of tries to get it lined up right. Once your image is printed, cut it out!

Apply Image to Candle Holder

Now flip the image over and put a thin layer of Mod Podge on the back of it. You can also line the image up to where you want it on the candle holder and apply the Mod Podge directly on the candle holder. What ever is easiest for you. Once the Mod Podge is on the image, apply the image to the candle holder.

Seal It Up & Light It Up!

Now you just need to Mod Podge over the top of the image, making sure to get all the edges as well. Then just let it dry!
And now you have your very own custom made candle holder that'll go perfectly in your home or someone else's!
