DIY Trendy Geometric/Gemstone Soaps

If you want to change the scent of the soap all you need to do is add a few drops of an essential oil to the soap base! These are super cute, and make a great gift! First we need to melt down the soap.

Just throw them into a paper cup and microwave for about 1 min!

Add the colouring TIP: You want a small amount of a bunch of different colours to blend later. 30 seconds in a microwave should be plenty to get the soap to the right consistency.

BONUS - To add smell, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil!

Let the solid colour layers set in the freezer. Give them about 15 mins to properly cool before taking them out!

When they’re done you’re going to start building your layers and blending together the colours. Cut your colours into small shards.

Use the microwave and check every 15 seconds! (Soap explodes in the microwave).

Place your shards in the clear liquid as quickly as possible and cool in the freezer for 15 mins.

Shave off the rounded edges of the soaps to make the geometric shapes!

And voila! Your soaps are finished!
