Many people use to love star gazing and love to observe celestial objects,but only some of us can afford a telescope of higher power.

In this instructable I am going to tell you how to diy a refractor telescope.

Material Required

1-Bolt of big size (1 bolt)

2-Bolt of medium size (10 bolt)

3- Bolt of small size (4 bolt)

4-Nut (3 nuts for the big size bolt)

5- One pipe clamp

6- One biconvex lens(for objective)

7-One biconvex lens(for eyepiece)you may also use an eyepiece you have

8- Three PVC pipes, according to the size of objective lens and eyepiece

9-One PVC pipe cap.

Lens Calculation

I am using biconvex lens with an aperture of 90 mm and focal length of 500 mm

it can theoretically magnify up to 75x without loosing any details.

1-Paint all the parts as you like, but paint black from inside. for a better view.

2-Make holes in all PVC pipes as given in the photos according the size of bolts.

3-Then attach the medium sized pipe with the pipe cap as given in photo. Then join the cap with with big PVC pipe. Then join the lens with the pipe and your telescope is ready.
