DIY Syringe Pump Using Stepper Motor
In this project, we use common materials such as acrylic sheets, screws and nuts to build a DIY Open Source Syringe Pump. The syringe pump is connected and controlled via an Arduino UNO Microcontroller Board.
The Syringe Pump can be used to infuse or withdraw solutions and dispense specified volume. It can also be connected to other sensors, such as pH meter, for automated balance of buffer solutions.
Tools Needed
- Screwdriver
- Allen Key
- Acrylic Laser Cutter
Materials Needed
- Arduino UNO: 1
- Motor Driver: 1
- 42BYG Stepper Motor (or any compatible stepper): 1
- 42BYG Stepper Motor Bracket: 1
- M4 x 70 mm Screw: 5
- M4 Nuts: 15
- M4-M4 Coupler:1
- "Joiner": 2
