DIY Switch Adapted Automatic Dice Roller

This project is designed to adapt an automatic dicer roller so that it has switch access.

Supplies

Remove Screws

Remove screws from the bottom.

Separate Toy

Carefully separate the bottom of the toy.

Add Hole

Melt or drill hole into side of toy.

Cut Cable

Cut end of cable. (We will be using the female end of this adaption)

Strip Cable

Strip cable so that both the red and white cables are showing.

Add Solder

Add solder to the ends of both the red and white cables.

Thread Cable

Thread cable through the hole. Either tie the cable in the toy or add a zip tie to prevent the wire from being pulled out.

Cut Cables

Cut cables from the area shown in photo.

Solder Cables

Solder cables as show in the photo. (Wires should both be soldered to different black cables.

Reassemble Toy

Reassemble toy, add a switch and enjoy!
