This fairly simple craft project from Shirts.com is something you can wear with pride and say, "I made this!" Step One: Print Out Stencils

Download the high quality PDF file of the stencils and print out your favorite one on adhesive craft paper. It's key that the image prints out on the top side of the paper, so that you can peel off the back to create a sticker.

Step Two: Cut Out Stencils

The black part of the stencil is where you will be applying the paint. In the example stencil images, the "What a Piece of Junk" letters will be stuck on to your shirt separately, so make sure not to accidentally toss them into the trash after you cut them out.

Step Three: Stick Stencils to Shirt

With everything cut out, you can now place the pieces on your shirt. Peel off the backing from the paper so you have a large sticker. Carefully place the largest part down first. From there, lay each of the letters down one at a time without peeling off the backing -- take your time to achieve the perfect placement.

Step Four: Paint & Peel!

Almost done:

Use a sponge brush and/or fabric paint and apply! Take your time and use a dabbing motion to make sure you don't accidentally pull up the stickers. Make sure you get paint in all the applicable areas and then let it dry. We suggest you let it dry for at least 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how much and how thick of paint you used. Once dry, carefully peel off the stickers. We suggest using an exacto knife or scissors to pull up the edge of the stickers. You're done! Now go show off your newly DIY-ed Star Wars stencil tee!
