DIY Soda Can Planter

In this project you will turn a soda can into a hanging vase or Planter.

Supplies

Soda can, hot glue, paper, yarn, scissors, a screw driver, and tacky glue (any liquid glue will work).

Cutting

Cut off the top of the can.

Punching the Hole

Use screwdriver to punch a hole on the bottom of the can from step 1.

Threading

Thread yarn through the hole.

Gluing and Wrapping

Cover outside of the can in glue and wrap yarn around.

Cutting the Yarn

Cut two pieces of yarn to be the same length.

Making the +

To make the +, cross the two pieces of yarn and tie them together in the middle with a smaller piece.

Attaching to Yarn

Glue the 4 points on the pot.

Attaching the Ribbon

Cut out a strip of paper and glue it around the top of the can to cover the glue from step 7.
