DIY Selfie-stick Stand

Couldn't find a tripod for sale in Chicago that was made for a selfie-stick. I also don't think a stand exists for selfie-sticks. Amazon had some package deals, but without seeing and holding one it didn't seem worth the ordering. I don't know my way around The Home Depot or Lowe's but I put this together and I like it. Lightweight, portable, and around $10. Find a stick that expands more than 3 ft. and make sure it fits in a 1/4 in x 3/4 in PVC elbow piece.
